Personality Test - Animal Leadership

Animal Leadership has the potential to change your life, but only if you are truthful with yourself while using this system.

There are no right or wrong answers, so don't spend time trying to figure out how you should answer the quiz. You may have a different personality at home than you do at work, or there may be other situations that make your personality shift. Please answer the questions quickly and without too much thought so that your primary personality comes through in the results. You may take the test as many times as you like.

Choose one of the four answers for each question.

1. I interact with strangers by... Approaching them and talking about the accomplishments or productive actions of their life. Letting them approach me, then talking to them about their personal lives. Letting them approach me—and often, I would rather they didn't. Approaching them and sharing my personal stories.

3. When it comes to appointments... I try to show up on time. Sometimes I'm early, sometimes I'm late. I am early and ready for the appointment. It is unacceptable for me to be late. I am on time and I don't want to wait for someone else. I show up on time and try not to make someone else wait for me.

4. When I work, I like to... Have people around, but I don't like a lot of commotion or office drama Be productive; it doesn't matter where I am or who is around as long as no one interrupts me. Be alone where I can do things the way I want and take time to review all pertinent information. Be surrounded by others to share and discuss ideas and developments of the day.

5. When asked for advice... I tell the person what they need to do. I eagerly tell the person one of my favorite stories that relates to their situation. I pay close attention so that I can fully comprehend all aspects of the person's story, then give them a carefully thought out response. I listen intently so I understand what the person is feeling and what sort of support they need in my answer.

6. I do things... The way that is the most fun. The right way—that is, carefully. The fastest way I can while still meeting my goal. The way that encounters the least resistance from other people.

7. When it comes to detailed work... I am willing to do it if that is what you need me to do. I am at my best and I love it! I will do it if it gets me the results I need. I would rather be doing almost anything else.

8. If I am disappointed with someone's behavior... I tell them what they did. I understand that there must be a reason for their behavior and I forgive them. I let them know what they did in a playful manner, such as making a joke about their actions. I make a mental note and judge my future interactions with them by this behavior.

9. My response to a stressful situation is to... Be alone and focus on some meticulous activity. Blow off steam and have fun by doing something like going out with friends or meeting new people. Lose myself in some other relaxing activity such as reading, watching TV, or going for a slow walk. Take control of something I know I can do, like working on a job assignment, exercising, or cleaning.

11. I really want people to... Respect me. Find me interesting. Give me time alone to concentrate. Create a stable environment for me, where they are kind and supportive.
