Well for this week\u2019s blog I thought I would just give you an update on Scarlet and she has some big news. Scarlet has had her foal! The foal came at least 3 weeks early and was a big surprise to us. I went down to feed the horses and the boys came trotting out of the woods, but there was no Scarlet. Then, she came slowly walking down a little hill thick with vegetation. The morning sun was throwing scattered light through the trees and down on the forest understory. As I watched, a little face immerged poking along behind Scarlet. I could hardly believe it. I was overcome by joy at the sight of a beautiful buckskin filly.<\/p>\n
